It was his first Christmasalbum with new recordings since Elvis' Christmas Album (1957). Thealbum's single, "Merry Christmas Baby" / "O Come All Ye Faithful", waslater released in November 1971. This album was a top seller and toppedthe Billboard Holiday Albums Chart.

    Such a great Christmas album. An RCA Camden release. The second and final Christmas album released when Elvis was still alive is still one of the best. O Come All Ye Faithful is one of my favourite Elvis recordings. It looks great and ideal for all Elvis fans.
