Back In Memphis is comprised of material culled from the 1969 session recorded at American Sound Studio in Memphis that yielded the classic From Elvis in Memphis album. But, this album is much more than a collection of leftovers. Elvis' rendition of Percy Mayfield's "Stranger In My Home Town" for example is a fan-favourite and somewhat of a hidden jam among Elvis aficionados.
