On January 14, 1973, Elvis Presley made history. Performing at the H.I.C. Arena in Honolulu, Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite became the first worldwide live satellite broadcast of a concert — reaching over 40 nations simultaneously. When it aired on NBC in the U.S. on April 4, 1973, it captured 51% of all TV viewers that night. In Japan, the Philippines, Australia, Korea, and Hong Kong, TV viewing records were shattered.

This 2-CD Legacy Edition is the most complete version of that legendary event ever released — remastered, remixed, and expanded with rare material that has never appeared in its proper context until now.
