I live just a short distance from Murfreesboro and have heard for years that all the shows at MTSU were recorded. I bought the 1975 show (Dixieland Rocks) and it has remained one of my favorite concerts of that era. I enjoyed the Murfreesboro '74 discs, but these shows seemed to serve as more of a dress rehearsal for Elvis' Memphis show that was recorded live on March 20, 1974, for release as a live album. He is a little more loose here, it seems, than on the Memphis album, but the content is basically the same. Great, rare '74 version of Johnny B. Goode on Disc 1! The sound quality and mix for a soundboard is great. While rather repetitive of the Memphis show, still a great set to have if you love Elvis concerts, particularly for someone like me who never saw Elvis live.
