I've been collecting Elvis FTD cd's for many years, they're all awesome with their alternate takes and studio banter and beautiful sound quality, and we get to hear the humor of Elvis in between takes.,some of it is funny. But I have been waiting a long time for Roustabout, this and Tickle Me are my two favorite movies of his, he was at his best in Roustabout as an actor it featured his best performance of any movie in my opinion and the songs were among his best too. each song a classic all gems they can never write songs this great ever again. and no one had a better voice for ballads or rockers, the Jordinaires and Mellow Men added such atmospheric great background vocals, there's this nostalgic feeling too since we all love carnivals growing up,I get the coolest best memories everytime I hear this soundtrack or look at the artistic great album cover or watch the movie,I have the full movie on super 8 sound and color and it plays perfect, bought it before Elvis died being a member of Elvis fan clubs that sold original records and posters and memorabilia. My mom and dad both loved Elvis and his movies they're gone now but I get great feelings and memories with each of his soundtracks. Roustabout was a rare number one for his movie soundtracks and during the height of the Beatles era shows how truly great this album was. I like a lot of the extra takes and alternates, track 14 Little Egypt is quite a bit different incredible version I'd say better than the original release. Love the alternate I'm a Roustabout is a great song and vocal but it didn't get used in the movie,I do like the title song Roustabout better though. love the booklet there was more pictures and also info some I never heard before than most other FTD soundtracks that I have. Here is the King of Rock at his rockin' best. Without a doubt the greatest singer and musical artist of all time. Whew! I think I wrote a novel here but I've been a huge Elvis fan since I was a kid in the 60's. FTD rocks!

I was looking forward to this set coming in the mail. I heard some good reviews about it. It's beautiful. It has a gorgeous booklet that comes with it. The sound quality is superb. You can't go wrong purchasing this set. I don't know how many time I have played it. I recommend buying this set and when you receive it in the mail put it in your CD player and crank it up and enjoy.
