This movie has history. Shows old Hawaii in its glory before all the concrete buildings were erected. Great movie and great acting from both Elvis and Joan Blackman. Plus all the other actors were great also. I was pleasantly surprised to see Angela Lansbury in the film also. Looks like a lot of fun went into making this movie. I saw many Elvis movies back when shown in the theaters, but never saw this one until now. I give it top rating.

'King Creole' is Elvis' best movie!! His other movies are great too, (cause anything with Elvis in it, is great), however there's a reason why 'King Creole' was Elvis' favorite movie!! - too bad ol' Parker didn't understand why Elvis wanted to be a great dramatic actor. Parker just wanted to cash in on Elvis' singing success! If only Parker (& producers) opened his eyes and see Elvis was already a great dramatic actor!! This movie proves that!! ???? ~ TCB?w TLC?
