I have this cd. And like all of his other cd's it is wonderful. Elvis never sang a bad song.

You just can't get enough of ELVIS!!

A High energy show all the way !! I give it a ' 4 ' only because Elvis didn't really change his set all that much in 1969 . Once he had it in place , it was there . He gave great performances no doubt ! but with the exception of " Rubberneckin " " Funny How Time Slips Away " , " This Is the Story " , " Inherit the Wind " and an ocassional rendition of " Reconsider , Baby " , the set pretty much remained the same from July 31-Aug. 28 , 1969 . Elvis was in great form , both in voice and in body , but in my own opinion , we really don't need too many shows released from this engagement although I would like to see FTD release the entire concert in which Elvis performs " Funny How Time Slips Away " from the 25th of Aug. simply because for one of the very few times , he does a song " LIVE " before recording it !

I give this release a 3 stars simply because like Steve Damon says, Elvis pretty much gave the same show every night for the month. We don't need anymore FTD releases from 1969 unless it's the one with Elvis doing "Funny How Time Slips Away" in its entirety, but this show is a good no doubt ..
