Elvis the person comes alive in this book. The legend is still a thing of the future. In this book Elvis is still 'that poor boy' who used to mow his neighbours lawn. People tend to think of the legend, the jumpsuits, the muttonchopsideburns and the sunglases when they think of Elvis. For people who really want to get to know what Elvis was coming from, what made him tick the way he ticked, for people who want to find out to their own surprise how totally original a character Elvis was, this book is what you need.
