Flaming Star, in collaboration with FTD, publishes a 260 pages book about the vital weeks in 1960 where Elvis regained control over his career. The format is the same as the well-known FTD book format (KING CREOLE-THE MUSIC and A MOMENT IN TIME). The book includes: More than 300 photos, many of them previously unpublished text by David English CD with the original mono master for "ELVIS IS BACK". Pictures include Elvis coming home from the army, several press conferences, pictures at Graceland, coverage of the Sinatra TV show and much more.

Author and producer Michael Rose has assembled a most stunning glimpse of Elvis' life in 1956. Through literally hundreds of photos (many previously unpublished) we get to join Elvis at his show in Detroit on May 25. We stay with the tour for two more days in Columbus and Dayton and finally arrive in Memphis on May 28. Rose has interviewed people who attended the shows, found original newspaper coverage, chosen and organized the many photos, and arranged it all as a fascinating travel log. This is the Elvis that country legend Bob Wills aptly described as a 'punk', before controversy and Hollywood toned him down. The perfect companion to the new box set, 'Young Man With The Big Beat' (a few of the photos in the box set, including the front, actually comes from this book). 192 pages.

"King Creole - The Music" is a 200-page book with images exclusively designed to complement the music from the film. It consists of two main sections; the recording sessions on January 16, 1958 and song scenes from the filming of the movie (including behind-the scenes shots). The images are classic and well-known shots with the majority being previous unpublished and taken by the original still photographers on the set (no freeze-frames). The accompanying CD consists of the masters and the well-known alternative masters (no unreleased session reels have been found). As always, the music has been re-mastered.

This Follow That Dreams Records release is one of Elvis Presley's movie soundtrack reissues. Packaged as an attractive 7" digipack with booklet. The new 5" digi pack release, FROM HAWAII TO LAS VEGAS , is a cassette recording of Elvis' January 25 dress rehearsal for his January/February 1973 season at The Las Vegas Hilton. The rough audio quality is more than compensated by the fascinating insight into how Elvis worked in order to create his shows. With little talk, and a lot of music, we are invited to a first row presentation of what he had in mind, and yet he decided to change the repertoire the next day. Among the many songs is "Separate Ways" – rehearsed with and without the orchestra - a song that Elvis chose to never perform in public.

In our classic album series, it is now time for the first volume of G.I. BLUES material. As always, in a 7" inch digi pack format with booklet. A lot of effort has gone into making these the best sounding G.I. BLUES recordings ever.
