The new 5" digi pack release, FROM HAWAII TO LAS VEGAS , is a cassette recording of Elvis' January 25 dress rehearsal for his January/February 1973 season at The Las Vegas Hilton. The rough audio quality is more than compensated by the fascinating insight into how Elvis worked in order to create his shows. With little talk, and a lot of music, we are invited to a first row presentation of what he had in mind, and yet he decided to change the repertoire the next day. Among the many songs is "Separate Ways" – rehearsed with and without the orchestra - a song that Elvis chose to never perform in public.

In our classic album series, it is now time for the first volume of G.I. BLUES material. As always, in a 7" inch digi pack format with booklet. A lot of effort has gone into making these the best sounding G.I. BLUES recordings ever.

Flaming Star, in collaboration with FTD, publishes a 260 pages book about the vital weeks in 1960 where Elvis regained control over his career. The format is the same as the well-known FTD book format (KING CREOLE-THE MUSIC and A MOMENT IN TIME). The book includes: More than 300 photos, many of them previously unpublished text by David English CD with the original mono master for "ELVIS IS BACK". Pictures include Elvis coming home from the army, several press conferences, pictures at Graceland, coverage of the Sinatra TV show and much more.

Now issued as part of Follow That Dream's 'classic album' series, this 7" 2-CD version contains many outtakes and a 12-page booklet with historic info and memorabilia. Originally released in the UK in 1974, this newly expanded edition of "HITS OF THE 70s"offers a superb overview of Elvis' greatest songs in the '70s. While the album doesn't feature any outtakes, it does have a substantially expanded track-listing that now features 24 A & B sides and bonus track "My Way." The 12-page booklet features both UK and US sleeves, release/chart information and historic overview. This is its first official release on CD. Author and producer Michael Rose has assembled a most stunning glimpse of Elvis' life in 1956. Through literally hundreds of photos (many previously unpublished) we get to join Elvis at his show in Detroit on May 25. We stay with the tour for two more days in Columbus and Dayton and finally arrive in Memphis on May 28. Rose has interviewed people who attended the shows, found original newspaper coverage, chosen and organized the many photos, and arranged it all as a fascinating travel log. This is the Elvis that country legend Bob Wills aptly described as a 'punk', before controversy and Hollywood toned him down.
