Next in our classic album series is the 'ON STAGE - FEBRUARY, 1970' album. This 2-disc 7" digipack comes with a 12-page booklet. In addition to the original album the set includes all RCA's recordings from three of the shows.

This is a 2-disc 5" version of the original 'OUR MEMORIES OF ELVIS' albums, with an added bonus of the previously unreleased volume 3 LP master tape, as well as six more cuts that series producer Joan Deary had prepared at the time. Includes a 12-page booklet of memorabilia and photos.

Elvis Presley Live in LA contains the original soundboard recordings taken from the May 11th, 1974 performance at The Forum in Inglewood.

In 1973, Elvis booked sessions at Memphis' famous Stax Studios, where Booker T. & the MGs, Otis Redding, and numerous other soul stars had recorded hits. Unfortunately, initial efforts to have Elvis work with the Stax stable of musicians yielded few usable tracks, and Elvis soon called in his stage band to finish the sessions. The results can be heard on the albums Good Times, Raised On Rock, and Promised Land. Like most of Elvis' 70s recordings, Promised Land is an eclectic mix reflecting Elvis' many musical enthusiasms. The ten songs that make up this album run the gamut from country heartbreak songs ('There's a Honky Tonk Angel', 'Mr. Songman') to carnal white funk ('If You Talk in Your Sleep') to heartfelt gospel ('Help Me') to schmaltzy pop ('Love Song of the Year', 'It's Midnight'). While the performances on Promised Land are uniformly excellent, the material is a mixed bag of strong material and throwaways. Derived from what must have been a full professional 16-track multi track recording, the sound is absolutely great, and Elvis is in top form.
