The Follow That Dream collector series is a program created by Sony BMG that serves the dedicated collector. There are currently over 50 titles available with additional titles released four times a year. The titles include material ranging from multiple takes from studio sessions (much of it previously unreleased), previously unreleased concert recordings (often referred to as soundboard recordings). More recently, FTD releases have also included Elvis movie soundtracks with previously unreleased material as well as other deleted RCA titles that have been rereleased exclusively on the FTD label with bonus material, much of it previously unreleased. Also on occasion, FTD has released special book/CD combos.
The FTD series is a fascinating and historically important look into the development of Elvis as a musical artist and the evolution of his career.
